چکیده
Abstract Background Root-knot nematodes ( Meloidogyne spp.) are among the most important plant pathogens. Biological control is one of safety and effective methods for these nematodes. The aim present study was isolation identification endophytic bacteria from tomato fields in some areas Iran order to evaluate their biocontrol potential against root-knot nematode. In study, population collected infected cucumber roots a greenhouse, were isolated samples West-Azarbaijan province Iran. effects bacterial isolates on hatching mortality nematode second-stage juveniles evaluated, six selected infection susceptible cultivar with evaluated under greenhouse conditions. Results identified as incognita . showed that all exhibited considerable inhibitory hatching. also caused juveniles. Six notable selected, supplementary experiments molecular performed. Isolates 1, 2, 5, 7, 10, 11 follows: Bacillus wiedmannii (MW405861), Pseudoxantomonas mexicana (MW405860), Pseudomonas thivervalensis (MW405862), Serratia liquefaciens (MW405864), chlororaphis (MW405863), P fluorescens (MW405825), respectively. Based results experiment, good terms reduction galls egg masses However, B S had best investigated factors compared other isolates. , resulted moderate effects. less than others cases no effect reduction. Conclusions candidates management use such agents instead chemicals will be very valuable

The Nematodes are roundworms that are found in every environment of the earth. While some species are harmful parasites, others play a vital role in nutrient cycle and medical research. Nematode infestation in the fields is poly-specific; however, depending on the agro-climatic conditions, one or two species are dominant over the rest. The present studies attempts to observe and control the roo...

متن کاملEffect of some plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria strains on root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita, on tomatoes
Root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita, is one of the main problems in vegetable-growing regions, decreasing yield quality and quantity worldwide. Root-knot nematode management tactics mostly involve chemical control which is a threat to the environment, consequences to human health. Biological control of nematodes is considered to be one of the best alternatives to the chemical control. In ...
متن کاملTranscriptional Changes of the Root-Knot Nematode Meloidogyne incognita in Response to Arabidopsis thaliana Root Signals
Root-knot nematodes are obligate parasites that invade roots and induce the formation of specialized feeding structures. Although physiological and molecular changes inside the root leading to feeding site formation have been studied, very little is known about the molecular events preceding root penetration by nematodes. In order to investigate the influence of root exudates on nematode gene e...
